If Life Gets in the Way

I want you to know exactly what happens if your plans change, because I never want fear of the unknown to be the reason a woman doesn’t get the support she needs.

If Your Plans Change

Your options depend on how far ahead of the event you let us know.

14+ daysbefore the event
Full refund, less a $30 processing fee, or a free transfer to a future event.
7 to 13 daysbefore the event
50% refund, or a free transfer to a future event.
Under 7 daysor if you miss the event
Your registration is non-refundable, but it is always transferable: to a friend or colleague, or once to a future event within 12 months.
If we cancel or reschedule

If Smart Wellness Canada cancels or reschedules an event for any reason, you choose: a full refund or a seat at the new date. Always your choice.

Transfers and Credits

  • To a friend: send us her name and email before the event starts. There is no cost.
  • To a future event: the full amount you paid is credited toward any future Smart Wellness Canada event. If it costs more, you pay the difference.
  • Same program, later date: you keep the rate you paid, even if future sessions are priced higher.
  • Credits can be used once, within 12 months, and depend on seat availability.

Guest and Bonus Registrations

Registrations bought through an offer, such as a Plus-One Pass, are separate registrations and follow this same policy. Cancelling one does not cancel the other.

If Life Really Happens

Serious illness, a family emergency, a loss: we understand. Reach out, and we will work with you on a fair solution, even outside the timelines above.

How to Cancel or Transfer

  • Email deneatra@smartwellnesscanada.com with your name, the name you registered under, and the event.
  • Your request date is the date you send it.
  • We will confirm within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 15 days.

This policy applies to all paid live courses, workshops, and events from Smart Wellness Canada Ltd., including Recognize Yourself Again. All amounts are in Canadian dollars. Some events may list additional terms on their registration page, and those terms also apply. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Nova Scotia Consumer Protection Act or any other consumer protection law that applies to you. Effective September 21, 2026.
